The FIFA World Cup 2022 is Coming – Here’s What You Need to Know

The FIFA World Cup 2022 is coming! That’s right, the biggest sporting event in the world will be held in Qatar in six short years. The World Cup has been held in many different countries over the years, but this will be the first time it’s happened in the Middle East. If you’re not familiar with Qatar or its history, here are some things to know about where this year’s tournament will take place and what we can expect when it gets here:

When is it?

The 2022 FIFA World Cup will be held in Qatar. It’s the first time that the tournament will be held in this country and it will take place from June 20 to July 18, 2022.

The decision to award Qatar as hosts of the 2022 World Cup was made on December 2nd, 2010 by FIFA’s executive committee after a meeting in Zurich.

Qatar was chosen over Australia and Japan but there were concerns over heat during the summer months, questions about whether enough stadiums could be built, and if fans would travel there given its location far away from Europe and South America – where most fans are based.

Where will it be played?

The WorldCup 2022 will be played in Qatar from 21 November 2022 to 18 December 2022. There are eight stadiums that will be used for the tournament, five of which were built specifically for it. The other three stadiums were renovated to host matches during the event, and all eight venues have been approved by FIFA as safe places to watch games.

The stadiums will be located in Doha, Al Khor, Al Wakrah, and Lusail; four of them will have air conditioning systems installed so that fans can enjoy their time at a game even if it’s not sunny outside. All of these stadiums are set to open before or during 2022 so that there isn’t any delay once construction is complete

Where should you go as a tourist?

Dubai is the perfect place to visit if you’re looking for an exotic experience. The city has a unique mix of Arab culture and Western amenities, making it one of the most diverse cities in the world. There are plenty of attractions for tourists to see and experience, such as the Burj Khalifa (the world’s tallest building), or you could take a ride on one of Dubai’s many roller coasters at Motiongate Park.

If you’re looking for somewhere more relaxing, why not head over to Abu Dhabi? This city is known for being conservative but also friendly—it has some of the best beaches in all of the Middle East! You should definitely try some shisha while you’re there too!

If you prefer colder climates, then Switzerland might be just what you need! The country boasts stunning views from its Alpine peaks; however, don’t forget your warm clothes because nights can get pretty chilly here!

What’s the price of a ticket?

Ticket prices are not yet available, but you can expect them to be announced in 2020, 2021, and 2022.

Who’s playing?

The World Cup is the most watched sporting event in the world, with a global audience of around 3 billion people. Who’s playing? You’ll find all of the teams here in alphabetical order and listed by groupings.

Who are the favorites?

Spain (Group B): Spain have won both of their appearances at the World Cup and has been crowned champions twice before, with their most recent title coming in 2010 when they beat Holland 1-0 to win it all for a second straight tournament. They’re currently ranked number two in the world behind Germany and are considered by many experts to be one of only four teams who could win this year’s tournament: Germany, Brazil, and France being the other three mentioned consistently as favorites by analysts.

France (Group C): France is another top contender for winning this year’s FIFA World Cup because they also have a strong chance at getting out of Group C; they’re facing Australia, Peru, and Denmark as they look to secure first place within this pool before moving on through knockout rounds where anything can happen if you’re lucky enough not just get through but make it all way too far like Croatia did last time around after beating England 2-1 during the extra time during semifinals action back at UEFA Euro 2020 which took place last summer/fall.”

What kind of food can you expect to eat there?

Food is a big part of the culture in Qatar, so you can expect to find traditional Qatari food at the World Cup. But there will also be plenty of other foods available.

What kind of food can you expect to eat during your trip?

The first thing that comes to mind when you think about Qatar is probably something like “astronaut ice cream”—you know, the frozen dessert that NASA astronauts eat in space! But one thing you may not realize about this country is that it has a lot of different cultures within its borders. You’ll find people from all over the world living in Qatar, including Arabs and Indians (and even South Americans). These groups have influenced what kinds of foods are eaten here: Some common types include rice dishes with chicken or lamb; kebabs made from beef or lamb; flatbreads topped with Vegetables and Sauces; Pasta bakes made with Eggs; Hummus; and Babaganush (eggplant puree).

The World Cup is coming in 2022, and here’s all you need to know.

The World Cup is coming to Qatar. In 2022, it will be held in Doha, which is the capital city of Qatar. If you’re not sure where that is on a map, don’t worry because we’ll explain it all later. For now, let’s go straight into what you need to know about the upcoming tournament:

  • When does the World Cup 2022 start? The first match will kick off on November 21st, 2022 at 8 pm (local time). That means if you live in Europe or North America and are used to watching your favorite sports at night in your own time zone, you have some serious mental calculations ahead of yourself!
  • How do I get tickets for this thing? Tickets can be purchased through FIFA’s website once they go on sale in mid-January 2019. Prices range from 65 USD (about $80) for group stage matches up to 1,500 USD ($1,600) per ticket for quarterfinal games and upwards—so essentially anyone other than Bill Gates will have trouble affording one unless they win an online lottery system that hasn’t been announced yet but probably exists somewhere deep within FIFA’s hierarchy.

If you’re a soccer fan and you don’t want to miss out on all the fun, this is your chance to check out the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar. Tickets are on sale now and prices range from $100-$2,000 per ticket depending on where you want to sit. The best part about watching soccer at home is that you can choose how much action you want – go for just one game or watch every match from start to finish!
